DynaCleft
Developed in collaboration with cleft palate teams, DynaCleft is the clinically proven, non-invasive method of presurgically reducing the magnitude of cleft lip and palate for an easier first repair surgery and best possible surgical results.
DynaCleft’s elastic mid-section applies controlled approximation forces to both lip and palate while gently conforming to the baby’s mouth to accommodate feeding, crying, or smiling. The skin-friendly adhesive fabric distributes tension over a large area of skin resulting in less irritation and less frequent change-outs than conventional tape.

DynaCleft IFU
DynaCleft is indicated for use to pre-surgically approximate cleft lip and palate prior to reconstructive surgery. This non-invasive device should be used for as long as possible before baby’s first cleft repair surgery to guide lip and palate segments into position for a lower-tension repair.
Nasal Elevation System IFU
The DynaCleft Nasal Elevation System (DNES) provides gentle support to the soft tissue of the nose.

How does DynaCleft work?
The DynaCleft system is comprised of two components, the DynaCleft® Positioning Strips and the DynaCleft® Nasal Elevator. Each component can be used independently or together, or in conjunction with a NAM or intra-oral plate for the best possible surgical results. See our IFU for more information.
When should DynaCleft system be used?
The DynaCleft system should be used until the baby’s first cleft repair surgery.
How long does one strip of DynaCleft last and can it be used overnight?
Each DynaCleft strip lasts approximately 1-2 days, although on dry skin it may stay on longer. It is intended to be used continuously (day and night) until surgical cleft lip repair. Some parents find that a strip lasts longer if they apply after feeding. See our IFU for more information.
