Southmedic Set to Release Dermaplaning Blade “73-0410R”

April 8th, 2013

April 8, 2013

“Dermaplaning” is a technique used by Dermatologists and Estheticians to help exfoliate the skin. A #10R blade on a 45 degree angle, carefully stroked across the desired area, leaves the patient with very smooth skin.

The 73-0410R blade, most commonly referred to as a “butter blade” (most likely because of its resemblance to a butter knife), is a popular tool used among dermatologists worldwide.

Until recently, there have been very few distributors carrying this specialized blade. Southmedic Inc. hopes to capture a big piece of the market by introducing a top quality product, available through standard blade & scalpel distributors. No membership fees necessary.
